We advice companies and individuals on all aspects of employment and labor laws for both state and central laws including terms and conditions contained in employment contracts, laws relating to termination of employment, retrenchment and transfer of employment, compensation and other remedies for the breach of employment contract and wrongful dismissal cases. We advice on trade union matters, industrial relations and industrial disputes.

Our Counsels work on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including matters requiring immediate relief, litigation or alternative dispute resolution, and thoughtful counseling on policies and practices designed to reduce the risk of disputes.

The firm has experience in advising on employee benefit trusts, stock option schemes, voluntary retirement schemes, provident fund, gratuity and related employee benefits and in the drafting of necessary documentation therefore. Advice is also rendered on aspects of regulatory compliance, statutory contributions and registration(s) in accordance with the labour and industrial laws. The firm has specialised experience in advising on aspects of labour and industrial law in relation to transfer of business and of privatisations. The practical experience of the members of the firm in the application of labour laws and their ability to understand client requirements enables the firm's clients to conform to the diverse labour laws/regulations, while having due regard to their own practices and objectives. Representing clients in labour related litigation also forms an important part of the firm's labour law practice.
